What to expect

We take a work-hard-play-hard approach at Lake Tahoe Zephyr Cove Resort. Only one hour from Reno, we are easy to reach and, most importantly, we off a fabulous escape from all the cares of the world below. Our Lake Tahoe location does not offer room and board but we can provide you great resources on how to find affordable accommodations.

  • What can I do on my time off and are there organized activities?

    Tahoe’s South Shore offers the best in outdoor recreation, with boating and beach activities, cruises, fishing, hiking, and golf as well as world-class casinos and exciting night-life. Zephyr Cove Resort & Marina, NV, South Shore’s most complete lakeside resort, puts you in the center of all the action. Its full-service Marina offers watercraft and water toy rentals, M.S. Dixie II sightseeing cruises, parasailing and more. Zephyr Cove Resort features lodging, dining, shopping, an RV Park & Campground, and is home to one of the largest snowmobile tour centers in the US.

     Lake Tahoe Cruises offers fun and entertaining sightseeing cruises aboard the M.S. Dixie II . This full-service cruise event planning company also offers year-round weddings, group events and charters on a variety of vessels and in the winter operates the world’s only aqua ski shuttle.

  • Where can I go shopping or get essential items?

    There are many shops available in the area, easily accessible by public transportation.

  • Is there cell phone and internet access?

    We have solid cell service for most carriers and good internet access. 

  • Are there appearance guidelines?

    We have uniforms available for you depending on your role here. We require all of our team members to maintain a professional appearance, including the practice of good hygiene. 

  • Is housing available and what is it like?

    We do not offer room and board.  A good resource for locating housing in the area is http://reno.craigslist.org/

  • Do you hire international applicants?

    We work with CIEE as our J1 visa sponsor for international students. To learn more about opportunities for international students and begin the application process, please click here for the CIEE website.

  • Where can I get or make food?

    We offer employee discounts at our restaurant, beach grill, and aboard the M.S. Dixie.  Additionally, you will enjoy discounts at our general stores and other dining locations in the area.

  • What is the best way to get to property? What transportation options are there?

    After you are in Lake Tahoe we recommend using the Tahoe Transportation District transit operations. https://www.tahoetransportation.org/transit/

    Primary routes run between Stateline, Nevada and the South Lake Tahoe. You can get updates on their website. This transportation is currently free.
