What to expect

You'll never forget your career at Bryce Canyon. With endless ways for you to do what you love, you can spend your days exploring your passions and time off exploring the natural wonders around you. Our ideal teammate is flexible, personally invested in the success of the organization and park, has a positive attitude, and loves our natural setting. We’re a close-knit community who does what it takes to get the job done and motivated to provide great experiences for our guests. For a minimal cost, we have housing and meals available for our teammates, along with free activities so that you can make the most of your time here!
  • What can I do on my time off and are there organized activities?

    There are miles of hiking trails at Bryce Canyon for our teammates to enjoy. Our Recreation Coordinator routinely schedules trips to other National Parks, State Parks, and scenic locations nearby. Additionally, there will be at least one shopping trip per week to Cedar City, UT.

  • Where can I go shopping or get essential items?

    Panguitch, UT, located 30 minutes from Bryce, has very limited shopping.  Cedar City, UT, located 1.5 hours from Bryce, has several larger chain and department stores.

  • Is there cell phone and internet access?

    Bryce Canyon National Park has very limited cell phone service. Wi-fi is available in the lobby of the lodge, as well as in the employee and guest rooms.

  • Are there appearance guidelines?

    We require all of our team members to maintain a professional appearance, including the practice of good hygiene. 

  • Is housing available and what is it like?

    We offer dormitory-style employee housing for a minimal cost, and most associates who live on site will have roommates. There are shared bathrooms and living spaces. 

  • Do you hire international applicants?

    We work with CIEE as our J1 visa sponsor for international students. To learn more about opportunities for international students and begin the application process, please click here for the CIEE website.

  • Where can I buy or make food?

    Our employee dining room serves three meals per day for a minimal cost, and there are shared kitchens where associates can prepare their own food.

     

     

  • What is the best way to get to property? What transportation options are there?

    Associates can drive directly to the property. Cedar City Regional Airport is the closest airport to the property, located an hour and a half away. We provide scheduled pick up and drop off service.

     

    If you require a pick up service, we can pick up from Cedar City, UT.
