“Hospitality and a service orientation are at the heart of what we do. Whether it is internal or external guest service, our goal is to treat people the way they want to be treated and make memories that last a lifetime.”
What can I do on my time off and are there organized activities?
We have world-class hiking, biking, and fishing available to all our team members. Additionally, we organize plenty of social activities for you and your co-workers, including movie nights, out-of-park trips, karaoke nights, and other game nights.
Where can I go shopping or get essential items?
We organize employee trips into the nearby town for shopping needs.
Is there cell phone and internet access?
There is internet access. Cell reception in the park and surrounding areas is limited, so be sure to carry a map or GPS.
Are there appearance guidelines?
We have uniforms available for you depending on your role here. We require all of our team members to maintain a professional appearance, including the practice of good hygiene.
Is housing available and what is it like?
We provide three dormitory-style buildings with two to four occupants per room. Two dorms have individual or two rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom. The third building is older style with communal gender separated bath facilities. Dorm rooms are generally assigned geographically (within the park) according to work location. Please be prepared to share bedrooms and bathrooms with other employees.
Crater Lake Hospitality provides the mattress, bed frame, and a cabinet to lock personal items in. Employees are asked to provide their own climate appropriate bedding. Please plan appropriately.
During the summer months, we also have limited RV spaces available.
Do you hire international applicants?
We work with CIEE as our J1 visa sponsor for international students. To learn more about opportunities for international students and begin the application process, please click here for the CIEE website.
Where can I get or make food?
We offer low cost meals at employee dining rooms as well as community kitchens for those who prefer to cook for themselves. Additionally, you will enjoy discounts at our general store, dining room, and deli.
What is the best way to get to property? Can I bring my car? Or what transportation options are there?
If you are flying, you’ll need to fly into Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR). We will coordinate an employee shuttle from Medford to Crater Lake. We may not be able to pick you up immediately from the airport, so you may need to stay in a Medford-area hotel for the evening.
Public transportation is extremely limited to and from Klamath Falls via Amtrak shuttle, which operates late June through early October.
Employees are also welcome to drive to the park, but please note that parking can be limited in guest areas during the summer season. We will have an employee shuttle that runs from Mazama Village to Rim Village, but we encourage you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and walk to and from work.
How can I get in touch with the hiring team?
You can email us at Pinkerton-trevor@aramark.com or give us a call at 541-594-2255 (ext. 3779)
.
